Captivating in its quiet reverie, Geza Schoen‚s (Escentric Molecules, Clive Christian) GS 01 is fresh and rich all at the same time. Its wonderfully unusual opening is laced with dewdrop green (we‚re still not exactly sure what that means), orange flower, lime, carrot seeds and hints of herbs. It‚s all tied together with spectacularly wild riot of fruity floral absolutes‚Äwhite peach, water lily, davana, freesia‚Äthere are so many gems here that our noses were tingling in happiness. Geza put warm essences of cedar, basmati, musk, and moss at the base, giving GS 01 a meditative quality that allows the perfume to soar madly with its fruits, florals and spices yet balance gently with its quieter, earthbound cousins.
