WHY I LOVE IT
Lip liner can be intimidating to some people and a life line to others. As a makeup artist I use lip liners al of the time, sometimes to subtly enhance the size and shape of the lips, but I often use it as a base for lipstick to extend the wear of the lip color, or even alone with a matte lip balm on top. These lip liners from Kimiko caught my eye because of the colors, the formula and the component. Firstly, I love that it's a windup pencil. I must confess that I don't enjoy sharpening lip pencils and thrill in the knowledge that these don't need sharpening. The other thing that's unique about these is that they so perfectly compliment the natural tone of lips. The 90's vibe of Nikki is great for a bit of subtle over lining, and the cool-toned rose of Kata looks great on fair toned skin. All of the shades are winners and all have a place in my makeup kit.
